Lotions, soaps, makeup, chlorine, etc will cause a reaction in the metal and it will tarnish. When wearing plated nose jewelry, keep make up and lotions clear of the jewelry. Wipe it after each use with a soft cloth to remove any dirt and debris that may have collected during the time it was worn.
